A long time...

well, it's been about 3 years since I've posted to this blog. fads go in and out. first there was blogger, then youtube, myspace, xanga and now facebook. anyways, I'd like to start keeping a blog going again. I'll probably post the same stuff on my xanga that i post here. my xanga is a bit more current. i wrote in it this summer while i was working at the office before the wedding.
speaking of the wedding, a lot of things have happened since i last posted to this blog. i studied abroad, graduated, got married and moved to Texas. who knows what's next. our plans right now are to go to Korea and teach English for a year or so. it would be a great way to save money and pay off my school loans.
today I'm taking a day off. i wanted to get a substitute job gt Woodson today, but there weren't any. so I'm going to stay home, be lazy, maybe clean and hang out with Tara. Tara will ditch chapel for me!
well, I'm tired of typing. I'll try to keep up with this thing. keep in mind readers that i started this blog my sophomore year of college(like 3 years ago), it was a long time ago. so if i said something or did something annoying or crazy..it was a long time ago.

I'm so incredibly excited! i had an awesome first day of school.i also jump-roped and allison joined me...we are great. i am also a champion air hockey player. and now i was just on the Chain Reaction website and i saw that Mae is playing there on Feb 23rd and that Limbeck is playing there on March 6th!!! and they are both under $15. SUPER. this is going to be the awesomest semester!!! i am taking awesome classes, going to awesome concerts and i'm going to visit the bf in Texas. yay! the end.

First day of school

my first class today was lovely. it was sociology. this is the biggest class i've had since i've starting going to ULV, there were 35 people. no familiar faces. but i will be sure to make some roudy friends. i amso found out -to my delight-that we are not having a final. the teacher is awesome. anad the beset part is that the chairs are those soft cushiony kind that you can twirl and lean back on. it will be the mose pleasurable 50 minutes of my life three times a week. i'm excited, i think i'm finaly going to start college this semester. i've had very easy classes since i started here and it seems as though i have not had to work hard. i will do my very best in all of my classes. i find that when i am the most under pressure, i perform better. this semester will be the test of that. well, with nothing to do i believe that i will start my reading for my wed soc class (wow, i feel so cool saying that i have hw), i have to read from 3 books, very exciting.

The definition of greatness

so i was reading my friends' blog and she was writing about her experience on The Price is Right and i remembered that i had not commented on MINE (seperate occasion, i went this past Monday). therefore i will do so now. it was a glorious day... a day that i only slept for 3 hours becuase i had made the intelligent choice to go to bed at 1 am knowing that i was to wake up at 4. silly me. we got to the CBS station at 0600 hours, the sun was no where to be seen. i was cold, hungry and well, that's it, no wait..i was sleepy. (sleepy is such a whimpy word). anyways, to make long story short ,we didnt win anything, spent way more money on a single bagle than anyone ever should and definitely had fun learning that these chicks in the audience thought that Bob Barker was a tight homeboy. we plan on getting a large group to go this summer, so if you're interested, let me know. they say that if you get a group of 25 or more, one of you is guaranteed to get chosen. so, let's go! my show airs the 25th of February. watch it.

Life is Good

(sigh) Everything is great! i just had the funnest time with some people that i hadnt seen in a while and it just makes me appreciate how awesome God is to me. he gives me all these great friendships and love from people and all i have to do is be myself and love Him. it's super. the only thing i would ask of Him is to not have my Nick be so far away and to also give me the strenghth to tell my parents that i am now a Christian. but i am so glad that most of my friends are Christians and i know that i have their support and prayers. i am so lucky. (hey, it's 1:23!!!) . spring semester starts on monday. i have to admit that i am looking forward to being busy. it keeps my mind off of certain things. and it also makes the time go by faster. i miss my baby.
